Self-programed and rendered final project for my Visual Programming class with Andrew Hlynsky.
Inspired by the concept of lenticular printing, in which one has to shift from left to right in order to see two images, I digitally recreated the effect using TouchDesigner.
This video is a rendered environment done in Blender that imagines a three-channel installation— the "lenticular print", the motion tracker application, and the subject. However, in juxtaposition to the moving "lenticular" images, movement by the subject is captured by the motion tracker's camera, effectively depicting the subject as a mere blur. As one visual entity comes into view, another one disappears.
Images can be swapped by blinking your eyes.
Modelled by Luc Grenier.
